Roles and Responsibilities:

Field Service Technicians play a critical role as our “boots on the ground” team members performing general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, drywall, flooring, paint, basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and more. General responsibilities include:

• Assessing maintenance items when requests are received from clients
• Creating a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies and laws pertaining to work being performed
• Creating material lists and placing orders
• Reading construction drawings
• Safely performing various maintenance tasks including:
• Flooring repairs and changeouts – Tile, Wood, LVT, etc.
• Framing, trim, and other general carpentry items
• Sheetrock hanging and finishing
• Painting and sealing
• Acoustical ceilings and grid
• Exteriors including siding replacement, roof repairs, dumpster enclosure, etc
• Door/Hardware and Specialties installation
• Assisting in sourcing specialty trades as required where project is located – HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing
• Protecting surrounding areas from damage and debris
• Leaving working areas in a clean and presentable manner to clients
• Photo documentation of the project
• Compiling and sending receipts, photos, and Satisfactory Completion Certificates to the home office 
• Track and report maintenance needs of company-provided vehicle
• Track and report inventory of basic construction materials and tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Email 
• General maintenance and handyman knowledge pertaining to responsibilities listed above
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools 
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisor
• Organized
• Problem Solving

• Basic math
